Ceiling Unit




Above is a diagram of the ceiling unit detection pattern. The large squares require greater movement for detection than the small squares. Therefore the area directly beneath the sensor is the most sensitive. The maximum range of a ceiling unit is 7 metres minimum.

Wall Unit



Above is the wall unit detection pattern. Although shown in a corner situation units can be mounted flat against a wall or, more unconventionally, on their backs on the ceiling for use in warehousing. The large squares require greater movement for detection than the small squares. Therefore the area beneath the sensor is the most sensitive although directly below is a small dead spot which needs consideration during surveys. The maximum detection angle is 120 degrees. The maximum range of a wall unit is 12 metres minimum
